We are the LO and SLO Flyers of S. W. Florida.  A flying club for Ultralight and Light Sport Aircraft Pilots and friends.  Our club was established on January 7, 1995 as a United States Ultralight Association (USUA) Chapter #175.  In June of 2000 we joined Aero Sports Connection (ASC) as club #061.  We also work closely with local Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) chapter #565.  If you enjoy flying or hope to become a pilot some day please join us for one of our meetings or fly-ins.  Everyone is welcome and you do not need to be a pilot to join in the fun. If you are on a limited budget, Ultralights offer a wide range of aircraft types that are very reasonable in price.  We have instructors that can help you get the proper training and help you decide on what type of aircraft is best for your needs.  Check out our Aviation link to learn all about Ultralights and training requirements.

If, on the other hand, you would like to take a friend along with you when you fly then a Light Sport Aircraft is what you need.  The new "Sport Pilot" rule has opened up a whole new class of aircraft that are smaller and less expensive than the average General Aviation type.  Please see our Sport Pilot links to learn about this exciting new way to get into aviation.
